Anyone can setup the Ownum Pharos in less than 10 seconds! No app, wireless technologies, or complicated timers to set. Simply plug in the Pharos when you usually take your first dose of the day, and it will automatically remind you at the same time each day to take your medication. All you have to do is pick up your meds, take a dose, and put it back in the Pharos. The next dose is set automatically.

Key functions and usage.
Select the pharos that correspond to the medicine dosing interval. The interval is indicated on the box and on the unit itself. Plug into a wall socket when taking the 1st dose of the 1st full day of use. The device will alert and flash a light until a container is placed within. The sound can be adjusted or turned off altogether. After taking your dose of medication just place the container within Pharos. The unit will alert automatically at the next dosing time. Pick up the container and take your medicine. Pharos will continue to alert until the container is replaced. Always double-check pharos with another timepiece. This adds a degree of comfort and security.
Remove or replace the circular insert as needed for different-sized containers. For oddly shaped or oversized containers, attach the adapter to the medicine container. The adapter allows the container to sit neatly within Pharos. This adaptor can also be attached to pillboxes for those wanting to add SAFE DOSING notification features to their pillbox. Should you decide to change the time of the first dose of the day, you will need to keep the unit plugged into the wall and reset the timer through the pinhole at the underside of the unit.

Pharos has a preset timer. You must decide on a time to start the first dosing of the day. This start time is referred to as your Initial Start Time (IST). With the unit plugged into power, insert the pin into the pinhole on the underside to reset IST. The timer will be cleared automatically when unplugged for an hour.
